IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE
All payments made through Divers Buddy are DONATIONS and are NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances. By proceeding with any payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
1. Nature of Payments
All payments made to Divers Buddy are voluntary donations, not commercial transactions.
- Donations are made to support the operation and development of the Divers Buddy platform
- No goods, services, products, or benefits are provided in exchange for donations
- Donations do not create any contractual obligations or entitlements
- Donors receive no ownership interest in Divers Buddy or its assets
2. No Refund Policy
ALL DONATIONS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE
Once a donation is processed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind or regret about the donation amount
- Dissatisfaction with platform features or performance
- Technical issues or service interruptions
- Discontinuation of services or features
- Account termination or suspension
- Any other reason whatsoever
3. Donor Acknowledgments
By making a donation, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are making a voluntary contribution without expectation of return
- You have read and understood this donation policy
- You are legally authorized to make the donation
- The donation amount is accurate and intentional
- You will not dispute or chargeback the donation
- Divers Buddy has no obligation to provide receipts for tax purposes
4. Use of Donations
Donations are used at the sole discretion of Divers Buddy for:
- Server hosting and infrastructure costs
- Platform development and maintenance
- Security and data protection measures
- Operational expenses
- Any other purposes deemed necessary for platform operation
Divers Buddy is not obligated to provide detailed accounting of how donations are spent.
5. Limitation of Liability
Divers Buddy accepts donations "as is" and makes no warranties or guarantees regarding:
- Continued operation of the platform
- Availability of specific features or services
- Platform performance or uptime
- Data security or privacy protection
Donors assume all risks associated with making donations and waive any claims against Divers Buddy.
6. Payment Processing
- Donations are processed through third-party payment processors (Ko-fi)
- Additional fees may be charged by payment processors
- Divers Buddy is not responsible for payment processing errors or delays
- Failed payments do not create any obligation for alternative payment methods
7. Changes to This Policy
Divers Buddy reserves the right to modify this donation policy at any time without prior notice. Changes become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of donation features constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
